Halloween Party

 

October of 2005 I had a Halloween party with Matt & Chelsee, Tommy & me and Amanda & Adam, I remember having SO much fun! Every year I talk about having another one, well this year I did more than just talk, I actually had one.  Last Saturday the 19th the boys slept over at my parents and I got ready to party. We started off the night by eating. I had everyone bring an appetizer or dessert to share. During dinner I turned on my favorite Halloween movie, Ernest Scared Stupid.

I loved that everyone was a good sport and dressed up, everyone's costumes were awesome.  After the delicious food, we played a game where 5 gummy worms were covered with cool whip on a plate. You were blind folded and could not use your hands.  So using only you mouth you had to be the fastest one to get all 5 gummy worms off your plate.  Lance was the winner of round 1 and Mandy was the winner of round 2.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We next had a few games of good old musical chairs. Lance won the1st game and I won the 2nd game.

 

 

Then we each tied 2 balloons around our ankles and had to pop everyone else's balloons without letting your own balloons pop, Brad was the winner!

 

Our last game was called the name game. It is one of our new favorites that we play at the cousin Christmas sleepover.  I had such a fun night, with great company and being able to act like a kid again!

Sadly Carson got sick on Ashlee’s birthday which is the day before his. He still was not feeling the best on his birthday, but we gave him his present in the morning before Sean left for school. Tommy was working close by so he was able to come home to watch Carson open his presents.  I had taken the day off for his birthday so we could go to lunch and a movie, but instead we relaxed and watched movies and played with his new toys all day.  Carson had a friend birthday party this year on the Friday the 12th. He was finally feeling better, so we were excited to PARTY. Just one problem though, Sean woke up sick that morning. DANG!! We had to cancel his party and reschedule for the next Thursday the 18th.  I was crossing my fingers all week that none of us would get sick. Thank goodness Thursday came and we were all feeling good.  PARTY TIME!!

At his friend birthday party we had Halloween themed games. We played pin the tail on the donkey, bucket ball throw, hot pumpkin, spider ring toss, bingo, decorated cupcakes, opened presents and jumped on tramp. What a fun day!!

Between Sean and Carson getting sick we weren’t able to have an official family party for Carson this year, instead we celebrated multiple days. Grandma and Grandpa Bowcutt gave Carson a ninja turtle, and clothes. Grandma and Grandpa Snider and Ashlee gave him Jake and the Neverland Pirate toys, ninja turtles and a ninja turtle movie.  Brad and Kami gave him an Angry Birds game.  He was definitely spoiled this year.  His birthday did not go as planed this year, but we still had lots of fun celebrating!  Happy birthday Carson, we sure love you buddy!!

Pumpkin’ patch

 

 

Tuesday the 9th the Larsen’s invited us to go to the pumpkin patch with them.  We dressed the kids up in their costumes, Melissa was able to snap a few pictures of the kidos then we let them pick out pumpkins.  After picking out the perfect pumpkins we went to Red Robin for dinner. It was delicious as usual.
