Birthday Boy

Tommy turned 29 on Friday, May 13th. WOW!! his very last year in his 20’s.  He started out the day by going golfing with the boys in the morning.  He went 18 holes and had lunch so he did not get back until late afternoon. While he was golfing me and the boys went to the zoo. It was BEAUTIFUL DAY (too bad the it did not last long, we are SO sick of all this rain!!)  Here is our fun day at the zoo!

After the zoo we came home and I let the kids nap before getting ready for Sean’s t-ball game.  We went to Red Robin for dinner, then came home for some yummy cake and ice cream.  I love you so much babe and I am so grateful to have you as my hubby and you are an amazing daddy to the kids.  WE LOVE YOU!!

My Little Hot Rod

Sean had his first t-ball game on Tuesday May 3rd.  He was so excited for his game and to have everyone come watch him. Grandma and grandpa bought him pants, balls, bat, and a bat bag so he was all set to play. His team had a few practices before the big game so the kids could get to know each other and remember to run to 1st base instead of 3rd base after hitting the ball (even though it still happened a few times, which is so cute)  Sean’s team is the HOT RODS!!! T-ball is SO much fun to watch.  Sean has been hitting the ball really well (thanks to uncle Brad, daddy, and pop for practicing with him)  Sean is so proud of himself when he gets the ball in the outfield and throws it to first base.  Way to go Seaners!!

Getting ready to hit

Saturday we went to the Bee’s game.  It was a double header that night and after the game by cousin Tyler was in the highschool homerun derby.  We went with my parents and sister Ashlee, and also by brother Brad who thought he was too good to sit by us and sat by his friends :)  We made it to the  field towards the end of the first game.  The Bee’s lost both games (I don’t think they ever win when we go) BUT… we still had a blast and another FUN weekend.

By the time both games were over and the homerun derby started it was about 10:30, and just our luck Tyler was the last batter out of 24 kids.  The boys did so well considering we were at the field until about midnight.  My cousin Lance was the pitcher to Tyler, they both did really well, even if he did not win.

In the jungle, the mighty jungle…..

Friday the weather was yucky and stormy and the kids and I were itchin’ to get out of the house.  I decided to take them to Jungle Jim’s.  I have been wanting to take them for awhile, and thought it would be a perfect day.  We called a few friend to see if they could join us, but everyone was busy, so just me and my 2 cute boys went.  We had a really good time, it was not very crowded so the kids got to go on lots and lots of rides.  After playing for little while we walked across the street and ate at Burger King.  We went back to Jungle Jim’s and played some games and rode some more rides.  We were able to have a super fun day even if the weather was crappy.

Flying hi

Last night we went to Supercross.  This year it was me, Tommy, Sean, Ashlee, and Mike.  Last year Sean did not come with us because it was raining and snowing.  He was so excited to go this year, so I was hoping the weather would be nice, or else he would have to stay at grandma and grandpa’s with Carson (I am sure he would have loved grandma and grandpas just as much though!) but I am glad he was able to come with us. Hopefully Carson can join us next year.  WHAT A FUN NIGHT!!!
