My dad celebrated his birthday, bet you can’t guess how old.

**FEBRUARY**

February was probably one of the hardest times ever for our family. On February 13th, Tommy’s mom passed away unexpectedly. We had just seen her a few days before to celebrate her birthday and just couldn’t begin to believe it was really true. (and sometimes is still hard to believe she is really gone!) We are so thankful for all the wonderful times we had with her and for the memories we’ll never forget. I am also incredibly thankful for my knowledge and understanding of eternal families and I know we will see her again.  We are so thankful for everyone who helped with our kids, the sweet memories and letters about mom and just being there and thinking of us.

EASTER

Easter was early this year and was the last day of March. We had a fun morning finding lots of Easter eggs, the real eggs were outside (smart Easter Bunny, that way if we can’t find them all, no biggie.) and the plastic eggs were hidden in the house.  The boys had to go on a scavenger hunt all around the house to find their baskets. Later that day we went to my parents house for more scavenger hunt and egg hunting fun. We also went and saw Tommy’s dad for some more Easter fun.

Tommy and I got the boys a dirt bike for Christmas, we told them to help us get a ladder from the garage. Sean walked right past the dirt bike and walked to the ladder,  he didn’t even notice the bike.  Carson ran right up to  it and hopped on. Sean was excited once he saw it. We are ready for some warm weather to try it out.

We had such an amazing Christmas, with ALL of our family (minus Mike, only a few more months to go) Matt, Chelsee and Scout were able to come from North Carolina. We are so incredibly blessed,  I love my life and am so thankful for my 3 wonderful boys, family and friends who make my life that much better. I hope everyone had a great Christmas. Can’t wait to see what 2014 has in store for the Bowcutt Bunch. Happy New Year!!
