The Bowcutt Family: Yellowstone

Tommy, me, the boys, Ash, and my parents stayed in a cabin in Island Park August 22-26th. The cabin was huge, plenty of room for the boys to run around. We left of Wednesday 22nd, the first day we stopped in Ashton Idaho and went to Mesa Falls. It was beautiful. From there is was a short drive to Island Park. We settled in the cabin and decided to go for a drive to Mack's Inn (my dad remembered going there from his summers when he was a little lad). We were going to eat at the restaurant next door but it was closed because it was Wednesday, really?! who the heck closes on a Wednesday. Since they don’t have a McDonalds’s in Island Park we went to a little diner and had a delicious pizza. **Sorry in advance, I have a million pictures**

Thursday we headed to Yellowstone park.

Ashlee gave Carson a stack of cheese Pringles, he put the entire stack in is mouth at a once.

The bison got so close we could have stuck our hand at the window and touched them. We all loved the bison

Carson loved to look at the information signs. He thought they were maps, he would tell us where to go

Friday 24th we rented a pontoon and headed out to Hebgon lake.

Saturday 25th we headed back to Yellowstone Park

Sean got a buffalo cheese burger for dinner. He really want a buffalo, elk, bison burger, too bad no one made it. He like the burger except the toasted bun.

Sunday 26th, time to head home. Sad smile We made a stop at The Bear and Wolf rescue Center then headed home through Yellowstone Park, the Grand Tetons and Jackson Hole. We didn’t get home until 11:00pm Sunday night, but it was worth it. We had such a fun trip, we made lots of fun memories!!
