Grandpa and Grandma "T" at our wedding
Tommy turned 28 in May and Sean turned 3 in June. During the day for Sean's birthday, Carson, me, Ashlee, my mom , Sean and his friend Powell went to Mcdonalds and saw Toy Story 3. We also had a party for Sean at the splash park the next day. We had a pinata, pin the tail on the donkey and a Toy Story 3 cake. He got spoiled rotten on his birthday, but his main present from us was a 4-wheeler. He is a maniac on it!!
picked out for him.
Sean would ask if he was 3 yet, so we made him a chain
and told him whe he reached the top it would
be his birthday.

We spent many of our days outside this summer enjoying the zoo, parks, fishing and camping. We took Sean and Carson fishing for their first time this year. Sean loved it!! The kid cracks me up. He got a fishing pole for his birthday and we would let him cast it out himself and reel it back in. Every second he would say "I got one, I got one." that's all we heard from him all day! Tommy decided to cast his pole for him and let it sit while we were packing things up to go. After a little while Sean decided to reel the pole in, and of course he kept saying "I got one, I got one" at this time we had heard it so much we were about to wring his neck, so we were like yeah ok Sean what ever you say, and kept packing up so we could leave. Tommy happened to look up at Sean and there splashing in the water was a fish. Sean had reeled it in the whole way all by himself and boy was he PROUD!!

Carson enjoying his fist fishing tripI turned 26 in August, and had a wonderful birthday. We were able to go to St. George the middle part of August with my family. We had a really nice time hiking, swimming, and relaxing. Sean and Carson's favorite part was going to Dairy Queen every night for ice cream. (they are just like their mommy.) Carson started walking at 10 and 1/2 months and has not slowed down since, he is into everything. Sean Started school on August 24th. His teachers name is Miss Kim. She is a wonderful teacher. He goes to school 3 days a week for about 3 hours. It has given me a chance to have one on one time with Carson, or run errands with only one kid (man is that nice!!) Do your remember when you were little and said "my teacher said...", well Sean says that about everything! He has learned so many new things, I love seeing the art work he brings home (I am running out of room on the fridge), the new songs he learns, and hearing about his day. He is one smart kid!! (yep, again just like his mommy!)

Sean and Miss KimWe decided to get Sean a bike. His 2nd day riding it he crashed and had to get 11 stitches on his eyebrow. He was so dang brave getting his stitches in. But....., getting them out was another story :) Sean also started soccer. He was so excited to play, his team was called the blue tigers. The first game did not go so well. His shin guards we bugging him so I took them off, well he got kicked by a player trying to get the ball and he was so mad. He would not go back in the game. The next few games he did not want to play, but Tommy and I took turns holding his hand and he would run around after the ball. He even scored 2 goals (one was for the other team, but HEY still a goal!) His favorite parts of the game was getting snacks, giving the other team high fives, and doing the cheer. It was his first time playing a sport and we are really proud of him.

Showing off his trophyCarson turned 1 on October 8Th. He is such a fun boy, he has the cutest personality and ALWAYS has a smile on his face. Some of his favorite things to do are to play with Sean, he loves to chase Zoe around and give her treats, he loves to play with balls, read books, play with my hair, daddy's beard, and give hugs and kisses. My parents, me and the boys went to Discovery Gateway during the day for his birthday. We had never gone there before, but we had a blast. That night we had my parents, grandparents, Ashlee, Mike and Brad over for a party. Chelsee surprised us and came over for the party too. She came from North Carolina to see her family but was able to join us for Carson's birthday. Tommy's family was not able to make it but they sent a cute card and money to get Carson a gift. Carson enjoyed all his presents (and Sean enjoyed opening them) and of course Carson enjoyed every bite of his cake. We are so lucky to have Carson in our family. I know this was a long post, but we had such a fun and crazy 3/4's of the year and wanted to share a part with you. :)

What a year indeed. Thanks for sending Matt and I pics of the boys on Halloween we love getting them
