Trick-or-treat, smell my feet!!

Sean's little friend Aylah had a Halloween party on the Monday before Halloween, I had to work so my mom came over and took Sean to his party. They were able to dress up and Sean wore his Superman costume. We made cute little monster hands to take to the party. We got a latex glove and used candy corn for finger nails and stuffed it with popcorn and put a spider ring on the outside. Sean thought those were super cool. It's so easy to please a 3 year old (most days anyways). Sean had another Halloween party on Thursday at his school. He was so excited to dress up, this time he was a pirate. He decorated cookies, played lots of games, and of course brought home lots of candy!!

We has a trunk-or-treat at the church Saturday afternoon. We went with our good friends the Brewsters. We were able to make it almost all the way through before the wind and rain started. The kids had a really good time. Carson really did not know what was going on besides people kept giving him candy, and he was LOVING IT. He kept trying to eat through the wrappers. We came home from the trunk-or-treat and put the kids down for a little nap.

Arr!!

I decided to dress up this year (I am such a kid and LOVE Halloween!) Sean wore his pirate costume to go trick-or-treating in, I was also a pirate and little Carsy was the cutest dang bat. Since I dressed up I decided to take the kids trick-or-treating and Tommy stayed home to pass out candy. We waited for the rain to stop, and we headed out to get some candy. Carson and Sean were running to the doors. Sean would ring the door bell and yell "treat or treat, smell my feet" or "Arr Matie" and Carson would bang on the door and say some gibberish. They were making we laugh. I liked holidays before, but the kids make me LOVE them even more. We had covered some pretty good ground when the wind started picking up, Sean wanted to keep trick-or-treating so I decided to take Carson home to daddy, then me and Sean could go back out. When we got home, Sean saw how much fun it was to run to the door and hand out candy, he decided he did not want to go back out in the cold when there was lots of candy to pig out on at home. (which was fine by me!) We enjoyed the rest of the night eating pizza and candy and watch the football and baseball game. The next day we went to church then headed to my mom and dads for our traditional Halloween day which is eating my mom's homemade chicken noodle soup and clam chowder. (she makes the best soup ever!!) We had a wonderful Halloween, hope you did too!!

He thought the little pumpkins were balls
and loved throwing them all over
