The night before Halloween we carved our pumpkins. The boys had lots of fun!! I loved how gross they thought the pumpkin guts were. I remember as a kid I always made my dad get the guts out, well…. I guess it’s my turn to be a big girl. Thank goodness it was not nearly as bad as I remember it as kid.
Silly face
Carson told me how he wanted his pumpkin and he helped me carve it

Halloween morning I was able to go to Sean’s school to watch his school parade, my mom came too. There was some pretty cute costumes.

After his parade me and my mom went to help with his school party. They separated into 5 different groups. They read Halloween stories, played bingo, made ghost suckers, decorated cookies and had a relay race where they put a spoon in their mouths and had to race around the room with a ping pong ball on the spoon, they could not use any hands.

Carson also had a Halloween party at his school. I wasn’t invited, but it sure looks like they had a super fun time by the looks of the pictures his teacher sent.

After the boys got home from school, we made a stop at McDonalds for lunch then we went to visit Grandma and Grandpa Bowcutt and since we were so close we went to see Uncle Brad at work too. Tommy snuck away from work a little early (such a miracle), we set a bowl of candy on the porch and we both took the kids around our neighborhood to trick or treat. They both had such a fun time, they would race to the doors to be the first one to ring the doorbell. After going in our neighborhood for awhile we went to my parents house for our Halloween tradition of homemade clam chowder and chicken noodle soup. After a delicious dinner we set our trick or treating around grandma’s neighborhood.
