Gone in the blink of an eye

Wow!! Where the heck did November go?!?   We had a pretty fun month, here are a few of our adventures.

The boys had been bugging me for awhile to go to Discovery Gateway. We picked a great day to go, because it was  the first snow storm of the year and I guess nobody (but us and maybe 3 other families) wanted to drive in the snow.  This place is usually jammed packed with kids, it was so nice having it practically all to ourselves.

I did not get any pictures on Thanksgiving, but we had a really nice day.  We went to dinner at Grandma Tschaggeny’s house.  That following Sunday we went to Tommy’s parents for dinner to celebrate Thanksgiving and Dave’s and Andrew’s birthday.   The day after Thanksgiving Tommy had to work so I started getting the inside of the house all ready for Christmas and when Tommy got home we put him to work putting up the Christmas tree. Luckily we put up all the outside lights a week or so before while the weather was nice and warm. Of course we did not turn them on until after Thanksgiving. One holiday at a time!! The boys had fun decorating the tree, it took everything in me not to rearrange the ornaments after they put them on, but I left them how they put them, it looks so cute!

Jordan returned!! We woke up on November 27th to find our elf on the shelf hanging over our TV. I found the book and read it to the boys to remind them all the rules.  I have to admit I do pull the “Jordan is watching you” card  every now and then Winking smile  Here is a few spots we have found Jordan.

We took full advantage of the awesomely warm November we had.  It is so crazy that it was warm enough to have no jackets on the 27th of November.

Tommy has really got into duck hunting this year.  He has spent lots of weekends with my dad, brother and his friend Greg.  Maybe one of these days I will be brave and try eating duck.

  1. Busy busy busy. You are such a good mom to leave the tree how the boys decorated it.

  2. So fun! I really wanna go to Discovery Gateway with the boys. I used to go all of the time with Grandma and Grandpa Snider. It'd be awesome to see how many things are still the same :)
